The head of the government Dmitry Medvedev has opened the regular movement of the high-speed Comet passenger ship between Sevastopol and Yalta in the Crimea. It is planned that "the Comet 120M" will work at the regular line "Sevastopol — Yalta — Sevastopol".
Medvedev has arrived to an opening ceremony to seaport of Sevastopol together with other guests. Opposite to the high-speed vessel the small hand bell has been established. The captain of "Comet" Illarion Mironenko has suggested Medvedev to open navigation by sea tradition. The head of the government has twice struck in a hand bell, and guests have proceeded aboard the vessel.
Onboard the vessel the head of the government has examined salon for passengers, has risen to the cabin of the captain where the commander of the vessel has answered questions of a control system and life support of the ship. Having passed several nautical miles along a route, "the Comet 120M" was turned back and has returned to the mooring.
After the prime minister has gone to the land he admitted that "this is a very good vessel", worthy replacement to "Comets", "Rockets" which were operated in the Soviet Union.
